The Summer I turned Pretty, by Jenny Han

div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hey guys! So it's about 1:30 in the morning, and i just finished reading The Summer I Turned Pretty! I litterally finished this book in a DAY, which i haven't done in a while! What can i say except that i LOVED this book!

This book is about a 15 year old girl named Belly, who pretty much lives for summer. At the beginning of every summer, Belly, her brother Steven, and her mom go to a place called Cousins beach, where Belly's best friend's mom lives. Her mom's friend, Sussanah, has 2 sons, Jeramiah, and Conrad. Jeramiah and Conrad have been just friends with Belly since they were little kids, but that doesn't mean Belly hasn't been crushing on either of them...This year is different though. In more ways than Belly knows at first. For one; She's really blossomed this year, this is the summer she turned pretty.

The romance is just so sweet and amazing. I wish i could live in this book.

I fell in love with all the characters, they're all just so real. Belly is a really relatable character, i really connected with her emotions, i felt like i could feel everything she was going through.

The plot seemed so relatable, and desirable too. This book reminded me a lot about my past cruches, boyfriends, romances...which was kinda bitter sweet lol.

I reccomend this book to all you romance fans out there! You will absolutely love it.
I admit i was a little hesitant about reading this book at first, the plot seemed boring and un original, but trust me, it's not. I'm so glad i gave this book a shot! It's a perfect summer/beach read!

There are 2 other books after this one that i can't wait to read! But it's really late so i'll probably wait til tomorrow lol.

I give The Summer I Turned Pretty 4 and a half stars! (Whixh is very good because a book has to be "perfect" to get 5 stars out of me!)

  1. Hi! I found you're blog through the blog hop. My first as well!
I was actually curious about this book as I had seen it in the bookstore, but never really picked it up. Now I have a better idea what it is about, so thanks!
